Tell me more about Mentoring
Current and former volunteers are needed to mentor new LGBT Peace Corps applicants. Mentoring
is done by e-mail and every attempt is made to connect mentors with applicants
who are placed in the same country of service as the mentor. The LGBT mentor program
has helped hundreds of new applicants learn more about what life in the Peace
Corps is like for LGBT volunteers in the countries where they will be serving.
